On the occasion of Expo 2025, Thomas Happe traveled to Japan again in April to visit our cooperation partners in the Kansai region.

In addition to attending the World Expo in Osaka together, he met many Japanese researchers from Osaka, Kyoto and other cities. Rector Martin Paul was also there and participated with us in a meeting with the new President of Osaka University. This provided an opportunity to discuss future German-Japanese cooperation between universities and decide on important milestones.
