In May, Prof. Happe and his team visited our long-standing cooperation partners around Prof. Kurisu at Osaka University in Japan.

In the week from May 13 - 17, 2024, an international meeting including a symposium initiated by Prof. Happe took place with our cooperation partners in Osaka. Prof. Kurisu and his research group at the Institute for Protein Research (IPR) at Osaka University welcomed us kindly. In addition to the participants from Ruhr- University, there were also guests from France and Belgium, who joined us as part of the European-Japanese joint project “H2M”. The results of each of the working groups were successfully exchanged and discussed, and the foundations were laid for future collaboration in the coming years.
